Big Grammar Book 1:
It’s jam-packed from cover to cover with a great selection of photocopiable worksheets taken from the popular website. We wanted to provide teachers with a really useful book of no-nonsense grammar worksheets that they can dip into and use in class with students at Entry Level
(ESOL Core Curriculum Entry Levels 1 & 2). It is also ideal for students to work with at home since the answers are all printed at the back.
The book is divided into four parts and is graded in difficulty, so that it begins with some basic stuff and builds up to more challenging grammar activities. It features a selection of Essential English worksheets which provide practice for crucial basic areas of knowledge for learners at Entry Level, like using numbers, writing the alphabet, spelling days and months correctly, and so on.
Big Grammar Book 2:
Like its older sibling, BGB 2 is packed with 101 printable worksheets for teaching and improving grammar skills in English. The topics are wide and varied, starting with Essential English worksheets that cover the basics, like the alphabet, days, months, and telling the time; then tenses (a lot about tenses!), then irregular verbs, question forms, word order in sentences, parts of English, uncountable nouns, and so on! If you have used the first BGB, you will know what to expect from this one. Around 25% of the worksheets in this book are closely modelled on activities in BGB 1, for example Full Stops 1 & 2 (pp.68-69).
The material starts off at beginner level, with the alphabet worksheets, then gets progressively more difficult, while staying in Elementary (A1 / A2) level. Only towards the end do things get “tougher”, with articles, conditionals, and phrasal verbs making their inevitable appearance! Don’t worry – all the answers and notes for use are included at the back of this book.
Welcome to Big Grammar Book Intermediate Book 1! It is full of fun images to further motivate your students to get the best out of every lesson!
This grammar book is for you if you are studying English at intermediate level (B2) and above. It’s full of great material for testing your English grammar skills at this level – including question forms, state verbs, phrasal verbs, reported speech, use of articles, error correction, and much more. Many of the worksheets have a special emphasis on using the tenses and structures that you need to practise now, namely past perfect, past perfect continuous, past continuous, present perfect continuous, future continuous, future perfect, and the four conditionals.
This book contains 101 photocopiable worksheets, as well as full answers and notes for use.

Can you spot the mistake in the text below?
What’s the chances of a manned mission to Mars?
It could be a problem with apostrophes or a missing article, or maybe it just doesn’t
make sense. It could be there’s a punctuation mark missing or a spelling mistake, or
perhaps the words used don’t agree – the verb is singular but the noun is plural …
What do you think? Not sure? You need this book!
Inside you will find 60 examples of incorrect English, including the one above,
adapted from genuine mistakes published in newspaper and magazine articles,
advertisements, websites, and leaflets. Each example has one mistake. Your task is
to find it and say what kind of mistake it is – then write the corrected version.
In the process you will improve your written English by learning to identify the common
mistakes that professional writers make and that professional editors and proofreaders
miss.
We all need to write to communicate with others. This book shows you how to
improve your written English by avoiding the mistakes that the professionals make.
ALSO INCLUDES OUR EXCLUSIVE A-Z OF ENGLISH GRAMMAR WORDS!
This version of the book has an improved reading format and packed full of colourful photos and images to further amuse and motivate students!

I have created a PowerPoint presentation combining Paper 1 and the mark scheme so you can ask a question, and immediately see the answer and the explanation. This is great for a wide range of different circumstances. If the students have completed the test this lets the teacher review the paper question by question. It also a great what of revising grammar at the whole class level. Each student shows the answer on whiteboard and then immediately check their answers.
A variety of questions has been included in this sample test to demonstrate the formats and
curriculum content that pupils may encounter in a live test. A commentary is provided in the
mark scheme that accompanies each question.
This sample test mark scheme is provided to give teachers an indication of how the tests will
be marked. The mark schemes for the sample tests have been subject to a shorter process
than the full, rigorous development process that is used for live mark schemes.
The sample test and mark schemes have been reviewed by teachers and other expert reviewers.
I have found a way of making Maths revision a lot more fun. I have combined the official question papers and the official marking schemes into a single document. This means you can ask a question, the students show their answers on mini whiteboards and then as a class, you look at the official answers and look at what the students would have scored. As this is a whole class teaching activity, students can work in pairs or small teams and discuss their ideas and strategies together. This really reduces the level of stress as children are able to build on each others skills.
This teaching resource could be used in the classroom or at home. This teaching resource is a lot of fun and will make a difference to your students attitudes to maths. Keep Maths Fun!
Tell me what you think of this teaching resource in the comments box below!
Teachers need some fun to. This is my adult colouring book for teachers. You could print it out for your class to quietly colour during tests (when they have completed them to calm and relax them), or during long staff meetings - nothing is more relaxing and constructive than a little light colouring.
This is to encourage staff to have a little time every day to think and reflect and not work. This is my attempt at improving the good life balance of staff.
All these images were in the public domain. In the majority of the cases however, it took both a long time to find, then even longer to use editing software to sharpen and improve the images.
I would love to know what people think of them.
I have created a conversation lesson on how to achieve your goals. They could be printed out and placed on the wall. They could also be used in a single lesson prior to or during SATs or GCSE revision to help students achieve their fullest potential.
Each slide has an idea, a linked picture and a discussion point for the class.
